A review/warning for BOB owners,
By

This review is from: JL Childress Standard and Dual Stroller Travel Bag, Black (Baby Product)
Given that the official BOB stroller bag is well over $100, and that this bag says it compatible with the BOB, I thought I'd give it a shot. Big mistake. While the bag is quite large, it is not large enough to fit a BOB unless you take all three wheels off. And once in the bag, I had no doubt that in that state our BOB would not survive a single flight. It should be noted that the bag is simply a very large duffle bag. From the picture I assumed it had either some light padding or at some structural elements (e.g. rigid corners/edges) to help it hold its shape. Alas no, so the bag offers just slightly more protection than double bagging in heavy duty garbage bags (i.e. protect the contents from grime and abrasion). While that would be more than okay for our umbrella stroller or snap-n-go (which have a lot more plastic), given the important bits that stick out of a folded BOB (especially the flat metal shock brackets and front fork) I would be more surprised than not if a BOB didn't end up damaged during transport. That said, it is a well made, gigantic duffle bag and I'm sure I'll find a use for it. But not, alas, for the purpose for which I purchased it.

Perfect for Baby Jogger CITY SELECT Double seats,
By
This review is from: JL Childress Standard and Dual Stroller Travel Bag, Black (Baby Product)
I want and need a stroller bag, but the baby jogger city select bag is around $80. When I found this bag on sale for $25, I took it out in the store and was suprised to see my CITY SELECT stroller fit in perfectly, and with room to spare. It will easily fit the stroller, and the two seats, and stroller accessories. I needed to take one wheel, but that isn't a big deal. they easily snap on and off, and i actually prefer that to protect them more. A little heavy to carry with shoulder strap, but not so bad with handles. No big deal to put it on a luggage cart. Awesome way to protect my $$$$ stroller.

Fabulous Travel Bag,
By A Customer
This review is from: JL Childress Standard and Dual Stroller Travel Bag, Black (Baby Product)
I absolutely love this travel bag. I had purchased another bag which was more expensive, but hated it. I bought this Target bag a few months ago and we have used it on 3 long plane trips already. I own a Graco Metrolite stroller (travel system-not a dual stroller) and the bag is perfect with room to spare for things like diapers and such. This bag has held up well and we even spoke with one of the baggage handlers as he was taking it for a gate check and he said he wishes everyone had a bag like that because it's so much easier for them to load. I highly recommend this bag and for the price you can't beat it.

We just returned from our 4-flight trip with this stroller bag and it's still in perfect condition. The airline made me a bit nervous when I had to sign a damage waiver since a stroller isn't a standard suitcase, but the bag did an excellent job of protecting our new Chicco Cortina Stroller, Adventure. I folded down the stroller handle just to be safe and it fit very nicely in the bag. I was worried that the bag would be too big, but there was just the right amount of extra space. The stroller was easy to put in the bag and there was room to stuff a couple blankets and a backpack full of baby toys that we accumulated on our trip since they wouldn't fit in our other checked bag. I love that strollers can be checked for free and the little bit of extra bag space saved us from paying $30 to check a second bag.I read the reviews about the shoulder strap breaking, so when the bag arrived from Amazon (ahead of schedule!) I just removed the should strap and we carried it by the 2 handles around the middle of the bag. No problems at all. This is an excellent product and well worth the purchase.

I bought this bag for an international trip I was taking. I used it for my child's pack and play plus small umbrella stroller. It was easily big enough for both items, and I perhaps could have even fit her regular sized stroller in there with the pack and play as well. (I didn't want to bring it though.)I wrapped the bag in duct tape for extra security when it passed through at the airport. This bag has now endured 6 flights and has held up wonderfully. There is a small hole where it looks like it got caught on something, but it has not affected the usefullness of the bag. The handles are still perfect. The pack and play and stroller have come out unscathed and fine every time. This is great for lugging around large baby items.

fits Uppababy Vista stroller,

This review is from: JL Childress Standard and Dual Stroller Travel Bag, Black (Baby Product)
We are taking a trip overseas in a few days and I wanted to get a bag for our Uppababy vista stroller. The Uppabababy vista travel bag is $90 so I was looking for a cheaper alternative and found this one. The stroller fits in the bag with the toddler seat attached. We had to take one of the back tires off in order to close the bag(which was very easy). The bag leaves lots of extra space for additional items. As to be expected, it is a little awkward to carry the bag with the stroller inside, but it helps that the bag has a shoulder strap (although it feels like it might break if the bag is too heavy). I can't comment on the durability of the bag since we haven't traveled yet, but I basically just got it for extra protection from grease and dirt while flying and for $20+ I think it's a good deal.

Not a great option for B-Ready,
By Erica (USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: JL Childress Standard and Dual Stroller Travel Bag, Black (Baby Product)
We brought this in an effort to protect our brand new Britax B-Ready stroller (and the second seat). We could just barely squeeze all the pieces inside - we had to take all the wheels off of our stroller (the large back wheels are not that convenient to take off). Our stroller did end up damaged and broken - a risk we were prepared for when we decided to bring it. The bag had some small holes as well. It was a MASSIVE PAIN to carry through the airport with two young children. We ended up lugging the bag full-of-stroller because it was such a hassle to completely disassemble our stroller and struggle to fit it in. I didn't think the B-Ready was a very large double stroller (as far as doubles go) so I don't know how many "dual strollers" this travel bag could fit. Unless they mean two small umbrella strollers . . . So, if you have a B-Ready and want to Gate check it along with the second seat, I would not recommend this bag. We actually took an even greater risk and checked it with baggage on one leg because it was so horrendous to carry. However, if your stroller is smaller (the width of the B-Ready with the back wheels on could not fit into the bag)or folds up smaller, this would probably do an adequate job of protecting it. Just consider that if you have two (ours were 4 months and 22 months at the time) children, completely taking apart your stroller at the gate and trying desperately to shove it in the bag, and then dragging the bag along with your two children down the gate to the spot where you can leave your gate-check items is pretty much the worst thing ever. Especially if you are pressed for time! My other complaint is that, when full, it is horrendous to carry. If there were backpack like straps or something, perhaps it would be easier, but trying to manage it for any distance with the narrow shoulder strap (or the handles) is very cumbersome. It is a sturdy-ish canvas material which also prevents it from easily folding up and storing away. I unfortunately cannot recommend a better option - we just won't travel with a stroller ever again. I'd rather use carriers - I'd rather wear TWO children myself, than to deal with that again (and risk further damage to our expensive stroller). On the plus side, it's pretty cheap for a stroller bag and perhaps slightly more protective than the nylon red ones.

Bought this for our City Mini Baby Jogger stroller and it worked perfectly for it! Fit no problem - even with the wheels on it - there was even extra room. We did not check it - only gate checked it and it worked great for us!

I was traveling alone with my 7 mo old daughter and had to use a combination of my Ergo carrier and the stroller to go through the airport. I bought this travel bag to help ensure that the stroller would have some protection when gate checked. Thankfully there were people who helped me pack up the stroller into the bag while holding the baby in the carrier, but the travel bag really did protect the stroller and worked great. It fit my Chicco Cortina Stroller perfectly with extra room (so it wasn't difficult to zip). I highly recommend it.

This bag & zipper are made with very strong quality materials and even allowed me to store some extra items in the bag without being charged by the airline!! I was able to sneak in a bike seat & helmet along w/ some toys without any problems! The zipper was stretched at the corners near the wheels of the stroller from over stuffing but the product help up without any problems! Well worth the price considering airlines charge so much for extra bags!!
