This book is just as fun/cute as the other reviewers stated, but if you want a version with the illustrations make sure to download the $0.99 version and not the free version.

This is a short but adorable book of children's poetry that is whimsically illustrated and brilliantly written.

It is worth every penny! I read it aloud to my daughter and five minutes after we finished she was improvising her own poems. It was great!

At the price, who could go wrong! The illustrations show up well on the Kindle, and the linked table of contents works perfectly.

This book has cartoon style sketches of different animals with clever and informative if not a little outdated nursery rhymes about each one. What I did not expect after reading the reviews on this book was it's small size and lack of color in the pictures. After receiving and reading the book I can say that it's expensive for what you get and there are far better options out there for less money.

For this, and "More Beasts for Worse Children" and "Cautionary Tales", PG is a better source than Amazon. Belloc's illustrations are as delicious as his verse and are not to be missed!
