Delightful Children's Book on Manners,

I have had this book on my shelf for quite some time now and finally got it out today to read with my son. This book is so lovely! The ideals are presented in a very sweet way, as well as a way that excites young readers. I also love how it incorporates biblical teaching as well.Here's a quote from the book, "Don't be a.... "Shoveler" Shawn, "Picky" Pete, Sarah "the slurper" or "Messy" Bessy." It has pictures for each style of bad behavior at the dinner table. This book does have a little section on how to behave at school. We homeschool our children so I had to modify the way I read that part a bit. That said, it still works VERY well for our homeschool. I highly recommend this book. I think it's suited for ages 2-6. |
