I love this CD and listen to it even when my toddler isn't around. Mary Martin's version of 'I Got the Sun in the Morning and the Moon at Night' is just fantastic. It's the kind of music you WANT your kids to grow up listening to! Listen to all the Music for Little People CDs ... you can't go wrong with them.

One after another these songs by original artists are outstanding and deliver a positive message as well. Our 2 year old's favorite cd, and we love it too!

omg, I love this CD, I listen to it all the time! I don't know why it's called a 'child's' celebration of broadway, when it's really for everyone! My fav songs are come Follow the Band and You've Gotta Have Heart.

I think complilations like these are really what people want to listen to . With attention spans so short these days, there's nothing like being able to sample delicious treats from bygone eras. Hurrah.

I work at a daycare center and this is one of the kids favorite tapes. I feel great that they enjoy it as mush as I do because I enjoy sharing my little part of broadway with them.

We had this CD on a tape when my four children were ten and under. The youngest son just turned 19 and we recently heard one of the songs from the long gone tape and he talked about how much he loved that tape; then our 24-year-old son chimed in and said how much girls like guys who know musicals. I had to order it so we could enjoy it on CD. It was a hit on Christmas morning. Now, the new CD is off to college with the freshman... hope the room mate likes it as much as our son! What I have always appreciated about the entire "Child's Celebration" series is that all the songs are by the original artists, not some cutesy singer doing a cover of the songs. These tunes wear well on moms who spend a lot of time in the car, as chauffeur, or at home with pre-schoolers. They also are appreciated by both sexes and a very wide variety of ages.

It's not just for kids! Originally checked this out from the library. My kids were THRILLED when I actually purchased it. It makes me realize why I love musicals -- they're usually upbeat and happy and everything works out in the end. I wish there were more of them out there to be enjoyed.
