This review is from: A Child's Garden of Quilts (Paperback)
This is the most fascinating quilt I have ever made. I wish there were more quilting books that use this method. The design is based on a picture drawn on graph paper in tiny squares. Appliques are made up of tiny squares of material that match the grid. IT is hard to explain the system because it is so entirely different from any other applique quilts I've ever seen. I made the Mother Goose Quilt which is now an heirloom! It is a shame that it is out of print, but Amazon still has older/used copies.
Advanced quilters who want a real challenge should really enjoy working these quilts |
