We were given this cassette for our newborn baby. He's now almost 10 and it is the standard in our nighttime ritual. I can't count the number of times this has been played. The tape is now wearing thin and we need the CD. The music is as beautiful as the first time we heard it. It provides a gentle, soothing and very very comfortable end to each day. There is something to be said for constants these days.

My mom used to play this tape for me when I was a little girl. We would always listen to "Tomorrow We'll Go to the Fair" the night before the county fair opened and the first words I ever spelled out were I L-O-V-E Y-O-U. This music has special meaning to me since I listened to it as a child and I would recommend it to all parents as a lullaby tradition to start with their kids. I hope it will mean as much to your and your kids as it has to me and my mom now that I'm 20 years old and all grown up! This CD is truly a child's gift and it wont wear out like our old cassette tape finally did.

This album was given to us by the music director at our church as a new baby gift. This music is so gentle and lovely, soothing and beautiful! I have a couple other lullaby tapes and none come even close to this one. I have a degree in music, so I'm quite picky about music, and I can completely vouch for it. I am on the site today to order it for my new niece.

This is truly my favorite children's CD! I came across it when I was younger and babysat. The family I worked for played it each evening for the children as they laid down to sleep. Now that I have my own child I wanted to have it for her. It's been a few years since I stopped working for them and unfortunately I could not remember the name, just what the cover looked like. Now, thanks to Amazon I have found it and am enjoying it over and over. The songs are beautiful, heartfelt and so soothing. I especially like the fact that there are two parts to the CD. You can hear the songs with lyrics and also without. I highly recommend it to anyone.

My husband bought this tape when our first baby was born. It played every night when all 3 of our sons were babies. It has the most wonderful melodies and the sweetest words. One side is the singing version of the songs, and the flip side is just the music. My father in law enjoyed hearing the music on the monitor so much when our kids slept over, that he eventually went out and bought a copy for himself!! It's always the gift I give when buying for someone's first baby. You can't go wrong with this CD.

I grew up with a cassette of this album. My mom always used to sing me "I L.O.V.E. Y.O.U." before I went to sleep when I was very young. Now I am almost 19, a freshman in college, and I still use that song and the others on this CD to help me fall asleep. They are the kinds of lullabies that will not annoy you if you listen to them all the time. I recommend this CD to anyone with small children or anyone who needs the comfort of a good lullaby. You will not be disappointed.

I remember when I was little, my mom used to play this for me and as soon as I found out I was pregnant with my son, I knew I had to get this CD for him. Tomorrow we'll go to the fair is by far the best lullaby out there. I recommend this CD for all parents!

When I had my first child (thirteen years ago) my HMO actually sent this tape to us. I loved it! "Wings" would always comfort my son when he was crying. He hated the car and I would not drive anywhere without this tape. Later, "Tomorrow we'll go to the fair" had to be sung every night before bed. (My husband once tried to estimate how many times I have sung that song to the two children ...impossible to calculate.) I always included a copy in baby shower gifts to friends that had children around the same time. Tonight I was talking with a new Mom and recommended some music. I couldn't remember the name of this (the tape having been handed down) but a song title search brought it up. Listening to the samples brought tears to my eyes! Not only am I buying two for new Moms, but I am getting a third for myself! It's beautiful.

My sister bought this for me before my first child was born. My daughter is now 3 1/2 and I just had another child and went to look for the cassette but can't find it. I loved it so much with my daughter, I am now buying another one (in cd format this time) so my son can enjoy it (actually, so I can continue to enjoy it!) My sister had said it was her favorite, and now with 10-15 different lullabye cds/tapes, I can say this one is my absolute favorite! I'm also buying it as a gift for a good friend. I find myself humming/singing the tunes throughout the day and they always put a smile on my face.

My mom received this cassette when my baby sister was born 17 years ago. During a long hospital stay it became our favorite. I bought the CD for my 3 sisters several years ago and now listen to it with my daughter. She loves for me to play it and she'll even fall asleep on the couch! I will continue to purchase it for all of my good friends as they start their families.
