My dughters LOVE this CD. We listen to it in the car, at home, and during their bed time routine. It is music that I can enjoy as well. Songs I have loved since my childhood redone in a celtic sort of way. Very soothing, very pretty music! I've recommended it to many people and will continue to. Very pleased with this purchase!

I love this CD. The arrangements are so sweet, I find it hard to listen to just at bedtime.

My little boy loves this CD! Now he askes me to sing him these songs and he finishes the words for me! I idn't even know he was listening to the words, i love this CD.

We bought this CD when we had our twin boys. The music was so soothing to them, and they had no trouble at all falling asleep each night with this CD playing. For 2 years we played this song every night at bedtime. When the next baby came, we played it for her too. I must say this CD taught me a lot about lullabies - that it is not really the song that is the lullaby, but how it is sung - very slow, very hushed. It also improved the way I sing to all 6 of my children, and they all cherish this music. In fact we purchased several copies now as we love to give this CD to others as a baby gift.

This CD is great. I'm now playing it for my second grandchild and he hears it and goes to sleep quickly. If he's still restless it helps to calm him so he can sleep.

I bought this CD a few years ago for my 2nd son to fall asleep to & just fell in love with it. Then it was passed on to my 3rd child, and then to my 4th. It is now so scratched up that it stalls in the middle of a song - and we love it so much I am replacing it! It's become part of the routine to turn it on & sing the first verse of the first song a we hold our child, then lay them in bed as the rest of it plays on. The music is soft, the sounds are warm and the spirit of it is so precious that you can't help but drift off peacefully as it plays. Great CD!

This is a great CD to listen to anytime of day you want peace in your home (or car). Our whole family loves this beautiful music. The first songs my son ever sang were from listening to this CD (and he was only 1 year old).

I bought this CD, hoping that it might possibly help me with my insomnia. I have a few "sleep" CDs and have had success sleeping with some, but not all of them. The ones with actual MUSIC on them have never worked for me, as they are too stimulating; my mind stays awake and follows the music.

On this CD, the songs are sung by soloists, both male and female, with very simple accompaniments. The style is soft, dreamy and ethereal. The words are sweet and uplifting.

But the best part is this: "A Child's Prayer" works like a charm! I'm so glad that I bought it--it really relaxes me, and I drift off easily. Haven't heard the end of the CD yet!
