Every parent of young children should own this book, and I am amazed it isn't still in print. I was fortunate to have a loving mother that gifted it to me, and I am so happy to be able to use this wonderful resource. Songs, poems, crafts, recipes - this book is an amazing store of knowledge for bringing rhythm and joy into a young child's life.

Waldorf schooling is the fastest growing non-sectarian school movement in the United States. Based on the philosophy of Rudolph Steiner, Waldorf education seeks to engage the mind, body and heart of its' students. A Child's Seasonal Treasury is beautifully bound, with practical suggestions, recipes and ideas for helping children escape the commercialism of many of holidays today, and return to simpler (yet no less FUN) times. As my own children grow, we can always find something new here to enjoy, and to reflect on.
