Costume looks exactly as pictured. It is unfortunate that the hat does not have an 'M' on it so that it is more identifiable as Mario. The costume did not come with any tags (that I could find) that identifies the material (perhaps nylon/spandex) or care instructions, so I'm not sure if I can safely wash it should it get dirty or iron it if it gets wrinkled. The size range, 7-10, is pretty large, so I thought it might have adjustable straps on the overalls. It does not. The gloves are over-sized and made of felt, so they are challenging to keep on small hands. My son really wants to be Mario for Halloween and this has satisfied him, but it is overpriced considering it's shortcomings.

PERFECT COSTUME FOR MY LITTLE MARIO FAN. HE WAS A HIT. IT WILL BE BIG ENUF FOR HIM TO ENJOY FOR YRS TO COME AS A COSTUME, FOR PLAYING DRESSUP, ETC. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT. JUST WISH THE HAT HAD A "M" ON IT.

My son likes the costume except for the hat. It is poorly made. It looks more like a chef's hat then Mario's hat. That's the only complaint about it.
