Child's Twinkle Witch Costume with Fiber Optic Twinkle Skirt - Medium

The only reason my daughter picked this costume was because of the lights. They don't work. I went out and bought new batteries. it still doesn't work. the package says it comes with 3 batteries (which it did) and the instructions show a diagram of putting 4 batteries in, it is completely unclear. Now I am stuck, and i have a very disappointed 6 year old not to mention all the time i wasted trying to fix this.

The costume is cute, but the twinkle leaves much to be desired. When working properly, the lights in the skirt are not very bright. We had to stand in a room with no lights to see if it was working. The lights quit working before trick or treating was over.

the light up device never worked on it, so I feel like we paid too much money for this costume. I wasn't about to take it away from my 3 year old daughter, so just kept it as is. We told her she sparkled instead.

I was extremely disappointed this year with Amazon's costumes as well as their customer service. First of all the Twinkle witch costume does not sparkle with yellow lights...it has a green glow stick that runs down the waist in front. Secondly, after purchasing my sons costume, 6-7 weeks before Halloween (Yoshi) for $24.99 and receiving a confirmation, 3 weeks went by with no word. Finally I received an email stating that the costume was now selling for $99.00 and that my previous order would gladly be cancelled, and they would love to reorder for me with an additional cost of $74.00. Are you kidding me? Not happy...not happy at all. Not to mention I have a very sad little boy!

I also only bought this for the bright orange lights on the skirt. They are not orange but very dim green

sparks and only work on one small section of the skirt (the picture is COMPLETELY misleading with the lights).

A shame because if they looked like the picture it would be a fantastic costume as it has a lot of fabric in the skirt

and is cute otherwise.

My 5 1/2 yr old daughter insisted on this costume for Halloween so we got it for her. I made the mistake of getting her the small size 4-6, thinking the next size up would be huge on her. The 4-6 ended up being short and snug on her but we dealt with it since it was too late to return it. She wore it for trick or treating and she barely ever remembered to light up her dress. I had to keep reminding her and she just got tired of trying to find the button to press, it's not easy to find at all. The fiber optic lights don't stay on very long either and they are kind of in a bunched up spray across the front of the skirt. I won't bother buying another costume that claims to light up, you think it's a good idea for going out at night trick or treating but it was kind of pointless since the lights don't stay on. We had bought pumpkin pails that had lights in the handles (with an on/off switch!) and they were so much more useful. It was a cute witch costume but the lights were just a bother.

What a cute picture of the costume, but completely deceiving! On the under-side of the 2 petti coats are 20 or more fibers that have a very dim glimmer at the ends. Looks nothing like the picture. Do not waste your money!

We were so excitd to get a sparkly skirt as pictured. However, when it came the sparkles were not sparkles, but lines of very faint light and only in a small section of the front. Too late to return and reorder something else for Halloween.

This costume is very cute, but runs small. My daughter is 7, wears a 7 or 8. I bought the 8-10. It was so tight it was difficult to get on her and it hurt her. Unfortunately, there were no larger sizes available on-line or in warehouse inventory (per an extremely helpful Amazon employee's assistance). Because we needed it for a late September Halloween camping weekend, we didn't have time to shop via another merchant to find a larger size (it arrived 2 days before the event).

Fortunately, the Sept event was warm. If Halloween is cold, we won't be able to put any warm clothing under it. We may have to slice open the back and create more space. Unfortunately, due to the fibre optics, we can't do anything about the size of the skirt.
