OK, so they'll never fill a concert hall with sound, and they don't have the richest, deepest bass. What would expect for speakers this small?
What they DO have is an amazing, lightweight, little package of sound that can travel with you anywhere. Match them up with your iPod and you've got the best tiny music system imaginable. My wife and I take them with us everywhere. They open and connect in seconds, and provide more than adequate fidelity for quiet background music in any one room. As long as your expectations aren't ridiculous, you should find them a bargain, both in terms of cost and performance. I am very, very happy with mine! As a bonus, my wife LOVES her new Coby earphones . . . and they have PLENTY of that deep bass.

My son LOVES these speakers, as do I!!!!! They are fabulous. Great sound in a small portable package!
