Good lounge music. Nothing spectacular. I was interested to see that David Arkenstone was branching out. I have listened to his music for years. In the last 6-7 years I discovered Lounge. It would seem likely that much of it would appeal to New Age fans. It is a good CD, laid back, more Chillout than Lounge really. Relaxing, fun, with a downtempo beat throughout. Music you don't have to think about, just enjoy. If you enjoy this, by the way, try the Rendezvous Lounge series, esp. 2, Riccardo Eberspacher, Praful (Jazz), and look into Water Music records stuff, Intentcity Records stuff, and Neurodisc.

Arkenstone shows more of his versatility in Chillout Lounge. What I find appealing about this CD, as opposed to other chillout titles, is that Arkenstone uses melody more than most. You will get exactly what the title promises Chillout.Sunrise

This is a different tack for David Arkenstone but a very excellent one. He has composed and compilled a super set of songs. This CD is as good as any I have heard by any other musicians making lounge music, maybe even better. I hope he continues to make more music like this. If you purchase this collection you won't be disappointed. Buy it now.

Love it love it love it! I could play this all day. Yes, it's another departure from David Arkenstone's normal themes, but still excellent! I am glad I bought this one. This CD brings new age music to a completely different level. It is relaxing and "cool". Perfect for background music at parties, relaxing after a long day, or just chillin' out by yourself with a cool drink. If you're not a new-age fan, this may change your mind! If you like it, get the CHISTMAS LOUNGE CD!

The man just never stops creating such fantastic music. He could make music from banging two sticks together. Although this is a departure from his usual style, it is well worth buying.

This product was purchased for a friend for Christmas and he was very surprised with this CD. He is an older gentleman and this easy going music is so relaxing that sometimes he falls asleep.

My husband and I love this CD. We put it on every night when we go to sleep. It relaxes us to the the point that we can fall asleep.

I have listened to David Arkenstone for years and have always enjoyed his CDs. I can sit there and envision the place, time, and theme he is trying to convey. I was a bit disappointed in this CD because it wasn't his usual thing. It is okay to listen to for background music. I would rather he stick to the music with the faraway themes, places, etc.
