I knew it was worth it.
S. R. Wilson
The story behind each song is very personal, and each lyric emotional, and yet his voice can emote all of them so perfectly.
A. Estes
I can feel every emotion he puts into his songs...every heartfelt lyric.

This debut solo album from Clint Lowery (Sevendust, Dark new Day) is something a lot of us have been waiting for. Fans have been hounding him for a solo record for years. Several recordings of Clint's solo acoustic songs have been floating around the internet for ages, but now we have the real thing, produced by his brother Corey Lowery (Stereomud, Dark new Day). If you're not already a fan of Clint's, you'll probably be surprised to know he's playing EVERY instrument on this recording. From the drums, all the way to the vocals, it's 100% Clint Lowery. It sounds like it was recorded live.

This is really an album that will speak to everyone, even beyond those of us who have been looking forward to this album for years. I strongly encourage everyone to give it a listen and I can't wait for a hard copy release.

First time I heard this cd, I was riding down the road in Myrtle Beach SC
The first song that came on was Hell's Next Door, and it was on, i was moving and feeling wonderful, and i thought well, it cant get much better than that, well, it did!!!!!!!!This Day brought pure tears of Joy, Sadness, a feeling a HOpe, all mixed together. This cd to me, has but one genre, simply put, great songs, great sound, and a life time of emotions
packed into 6 songs. Hats off to you Mr. Clint Lowery

PHENOMENAL...SIMPLE AS THAT!!!! Everyone needs to own a copy of this EP. Amazing lyrics and awesome melodies combined with an overwhelmingly smooth and soulful voice! Hopefully what's to be the first of many solo releases for this artist!! Get it...cuz I said so...and, trust me, I know about such things!! ;-}

As an Independent Internet Station owner and DJ of my own shows, I have been listening to new music for many years ; and Clint Lowery in particular, having done a live interview with him some years ago on CYGNUS RADIO ,( [...] ) His talented mother is one of the DJS with her own show SISTERMOON ROCK AND LOVE . I am among the people long awaiting a solo project from Clint , and I have not been disappointed. This EP is beyond incredible . While Clints music is totally recognisable as ROCK ,he has extended the definition of the genre , if not shattered it altogether with this EP . He is truly ahead of his time ,and is absolutely the new direction that so many have tried to find , and is leading where others are following ! THANK YOU CLINT !!!!

From the moment I first heard Clint's voice it has touched me so deep. I can feel every emotion he puts into his songs...every heartfelt lyric.
The fact that he is playing every instrument on this EP shows you just how great his musicality is and donating part of the proceeds to make a wish foundations shows you just how great a person he is. I have been waiting for this for a long, long time. Now I can finally enjoy it and play it over and over again!!! I will definitely be giving the gift of music, this EP, this year for Christmas :) Truly Amazing!!!!

I've waited and waited ever since i've listened to both Sevendust and Dark New Day, for Clint to do something on his own. As much as i love the singers in either band, i've always wanted to hear more of his voice out in front, but it seems like he's mostly stuck singing harmonies (albeit fantastic ones) in the background. Finally we get to hear him front and center... and it's damn good. Again, listening to his other 2 bands, you can easily pick out that Clint is a definitive piece of what gives both of them their "sound"... he is the melodic mastermind, if you will, behind them adding those beautiful harmonies and interesting guitar melodies and progressions in there. So cool to hear it all pared down to just him creating all his own music. The cd is a great mix of sweet, melancholy, and contemplative grooves, with a really rich organic sound to it. Well done. Dig it big time.

The title is appropriate, as Clint Lowery's solo debut is guaranteed to send chills down your spine as he releases some demons and cleans a few skeletons out of the closet. "Chills" is a six-song set, composed and performed completely by the multi-talented, multi-tasking Sevendust (also former Dark New Day/Korn) songwriter, vocalist and guitarist, dubbed Hello Demons, Meet Skeletons. Produced by his brother Corey (who has played in Dark New Day, Stereomud and Stuck Mojo) this brief yet potent chunk of music is about as intimate and on-the-nose as it gets. Each song has it's own story. Through the lyrics, Clint chronicles a bloody year that saw him travel the globe, get arrested in a foreign territory, destroy and re-build relationships -- both personally and professionally -- and battle addiction, only to emerge a better man, alive and able to tell the story.

As someone who has been lucky enough to have seen Clint perform this material live, I can safely say that the talent he shows not only on this EP, but in every band he has been a part of, is very raw and very real. The voice you hear on "Chills" is as natural and powerful as any found in the rock genre today, and his songwriting skills are something that have been sorely missed from Sevendust for far too long. Like the Clint-centric Sevendust songs such as "Angel's Son" and "X-Mas Day," the material composed here is not only haunting and emotional, but catchy and memorable. Aside from "Devil In A Cage," the music of Hello Demons, Meet Skeletons is of the more sub-dued, acoustic nature, which gives Clint's voice and words a chance to shine. The story behind each song is very personal, and each lyric emotional, and yet his voice can emote all of them so perfectly.
