It's summer in the Uglyverse, and Wage and Babo’s air conditioner has broken down, so they head to Ox and Wedgehead’s Air Conditioner Emporium, where the only cooling mechanism they can afford is an oldfashioned ice-box. They bring it home, and soon realize they are in for more of a stew than they bargained for when they find little Ice-Bat living inside! Since everything he touches turns to ice, Wage and Babo’s apartment cools off in no time. But when word gets out, greedy Ox and Wedgehead can’t believe they sold Ice-Bat for only five dollars. They decide they want him for the Air Conditioner Emporium.

Regardless if you are a fan of Uglydolls or not, this book is great read for the young at heart. Find out how Ice Bat becomes part of the Uglydoll family. This is one suspense children's book that you will read over and over again. Illustrations, just like all Uglydoll books, is simply amazing. The cover alone is a sure fire hit. Don't miss it.

The books are a cute and whimsical addition to the Ugly Doll francise. My 9 year old son really enjoys the stories and laughs out loud to himself.
Added plus -- he'll read these on his own without prompting. He is sometimes a reluctant reader (even though he has excellent reading skills). These are definitely fun enough to keep his attention.
