Don't buy for the Suzuki Esteem,

Good book but not if you want it for the Suzuki Esteem, check elsewhere for better info. Also, this book is way cheaper on a certain other bookseller's site.

Chilton's Auto Repair Manual, 1998-2002 - Perennial Edition (Chilton's Reference Manuals) The worst thing about this manual is everyone wants to borrow it. I used to have a collection of these vary manuals and Chilton's has actually improved over what they used to write and illustrate. This is a great buy and I don't have to recommend it because my friends keep coming and asking to borrow it.
