The Chimpanzee Manifesto is a collection of drawings by Nathaniel Gold. Limited to an edition of 500 worldwide, each book is signed and numbered by the artist. The 46 pages of this book include 30 full color pages of art and two essays that not only describe why the artist created this series but also serve to unify the art.
"The face of the chimpanzee is a mask. It represents a more peaceful society, one where we as humans shed our need for complication and heartache. A mask that hides the humans' need for control and corruption and reminds us to love and trust."
The book is cloth hard bound and includes a silver embossed image on the cover and a dust jacket. The interior pages have been carefully inspected by the artist to match the color, values and integrity of the original art.

This collection of illustrated chimpanzee's is a creative parody in which it really shows the satire of the importance we as humans place in figures both historic and religious. I thouroughly enjoyed this book and would highly recommend it! I am hoping to see more of this artist's work on amazon soon!

Magnificent depictions of chimps,

I love this illustrated book. It carries across deep emotions such as love, sorrow, humor and faith. The art is so unique and the concepts are truly thought provoking. I recommend this book to any chimp, art or original illustration lover.
