Book Description

8171884245 978-8171884247 September 28, 2006
This extensive study addresses the issues concerning the emergence of China and India as global superpowers, pointing out that these two countries possess a potential for growth capacity never previously experienced in history—one that could compete with the economic and political power of the United States. In addition to portraying the economic and political evolutions of China and India, this reference delves into the economic bottlenecks as well as the internal and external political problems that will have to be addressed in order for them to emerge as global powers.
