Wonderfully Refreshing,

This review is from: China Mist Passion Fruit Iced Tea (Misc.)
I love this tea. I tried it initially at P.F changs restaurant and ordered it immediately after I found out what brand and flavor it was. It truly needs no sugar added just the wedge of a lemon. Trust me I'm a 24 year old who loves soda and sugar and I'm telling you this tea is perfect with just a wedge of lemon. Not only is it delicious but I've found that I lost a couple pounds because I'm drinking much less soda.
Since the product description is lacking here is mine::: Be aware that this tea is lose leaf and doesn't come in tea bags. After doing some research on the web I found that the best way to brew the tea is as follows. Each plastic bag inside the box has 3/4 ounce of tea. This should make 3/4 gallon or 96 ounces. So all you need to do is bring to a boil half the amount or 48 ounces in a pot. Then let it sit off the burner for 2 minutes. Then add the pouch of loose leaf tea [3/4 ounce in total] and let it steep or brew for 7 minutes.... 10 minutes is too long and 5 minutes is too short. So set a timer it's important. After 7 minutes strain the water through a strainer with a paper towel layed in it. *** Make sure the bowl is beneath the strainer ***. Then put the strained liquid into a pitcher and add the remaining 48 ounces of tap water. Refridgerate and in an hour so should be good to go. In each of these boxes there are 24 3/4 ounces packages which will make a total of 18 gallons of iced tea.

The china mist passion fruit tea is delicious. It practically needs no sugar added. It's light and fruity taste is refreshing and unexpected. I have tried many teas before and this is definitely one of the best. Try it and you will agree!

I drink this tea all the time. We brew up a couple pitcher fulls of iced tea per day. It tastes like the tea at PF Changs and Cheesecake Factory. It's wonderful to be able to enjoy it at home.

Good for brewed tea, not good for sun tea,

China Mist is so good, and I'm glad to know that we can find cases of it on Amazon for reasonable prices.
We tried several times to make sun tea with this loose tea, but even after up to eight hours in the sun, the tea was very weak. Definitely stick to brewing it, then icing if you're hoping to match what is served in restaurants. The packaging kind of stinks: This product literally is a cardboard shipping box filled with plastic baggies of the tea, so you will need a storage solution unless you don't mind having a shipping box in your kitchen.

Excellent tea.,

This is a wonderful tea that I originally had at that fancy "chinese" style bar with the great food. The tea is well worth it and can easily be made in an iced-tea maker; however, the ambiance is missing in my house. Doesn't taste quite as good as it does when followed with crab-wontons.

I just got my first box, and the tea is delicious. Just like the one at the Cheesecake Factory. I will definitely buy it again.

best iced tea ever,
This review is from: China Mist Passion Fruit Iced Tea (Misc.)
If this is not the exact tea that is used in "The Cheesecake Factory" and the salad chain "Tossed", then it is identical in taste. I searched for this for years! Each bag, put through your coffee maker, makes a full pot and diluted to ¾ gallon of refreshing mildly flavored and gently naturally sweetened. It is the BEST!

I drank this tea in a restaurant and liked it so much I was able to buy one bag for $2 dollars. I saved the wrapper as it has "China Mist Passion Fruit." One bag is definitely good for two gallons. I made half a bag in my coffee maker, and that filled a gallon jug (watch so it doesn't over pour.)
This is THE BEST tea I've ever had and I'm soooo glad they sell it here. If you're looking for a supremely flavored tea perhaps to add to another beverage, or just to drink by itself, you will definitely be happy with China Mist brand. I really love this!

I have drank this tea at several fine restaurants and establishements. It is perfect. I use the Hamilton Beach 2 quart Ice Tea Maker and brew about 4 quarts with two table spoons. One package of this tea makes about 12 quarts. Everyone who comes to visit loves the tea. When I finish with this box, I will try the other flavors.
