4.0 out of 5 stars Hong Kong intrigue
I am a great fan of George C Scott. This was a good movie for him-good story line and intrigue. The viewer feels like they are right in there on the streets of Hong Kong. I was not very impressed with Ali's acting. Her timing was off.

3.0 out of 5 stars Interesting script,
nicely filmed in Hong Kong... however..the whole thing falls flat because George C Scott is the only one in the entire film who can act. All his ability can't make up for the fact that Ali MacGraw is unbelievably bad in her role. She can't seem to muster a spontaneous smile let alone any warmth and her wooden delivery and emotional shallowness makes the end stupid. No...

No wonder George C Scott's character walks onto the plan and never looks back! While Miss MacGraw watches him go and trys to pretend she feels something!
The three stars are for Mr Scott who tried hard to pull it off in spite of Ali. With a different leading lady and a little chemistry, this could have been worth watching

George C Scott and Ali MacGraw work well together in this 1983 televison film. Great location work as well and a fine DVD print.

The movie itself was disappointing. No complaints about the service provided getting this to me - was quick, the movie was in perfect condition.
