Editorial Reviews

Product Description

3m / Musical Comedy A hilarious new musical, China - The Whole Enchilada is three men singing, dancing, and irreverently marching their way through four thousand years of Chinese history- in less than two hours with an intermission. The show dares to tackle racism, human rights, genocide, and the birth of the fortune cookie. Selected participant of the 2008 New York International Fringe Festival. "China walks a fine line between sheer, ridiculous inanity and some serious truths about that big country over there, the one just past Japan. It's a tricky balancing act -- and a fascinating one."- Orlando Sentinal "In this musical version of the history of China, Brown has collaborated with song writer and composer Paul Mirkovich to create two of the funniest hours I have spent in a theatre in a couple of years". - EntertainingU.com

5.0 out of 5 stars A script that's almost as fun to read as see performed live!, July 3, 2009
By J. Valles (New York, NY) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
After seeing this production in New York, I was humming the songs for weeks. When the script came out I thought that without being able to hear the tunes there would be something missing from the experience of reading it. Luckily I was wrong. Leave it to Mark Brown to give us an inside look at the hilarity with footnotes on antics in rehearsal and performance. What a wonderful way to ramp up an already fantastic scrip to read. It educates you in spite of yourself. I hope this is produced again soon.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Show!!!!!!!!!!!, July 2, 2009
By N. Becker (Orlando, FL) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
This is one of the funniest shows you will see on a subject that some of us may not know too much about. China-The Whole Enchilada is a three-man show that takes you through some of the history of China. Great music, outstanding writing, and it gives you an education as well. I hope I get to see this show again very soon!!!
