5.0 out of 5 stars In the chill February 1, 2011

This track has a very melodic cool rolling sound. Class it under the chillwave genre. Definitely has a spot in my iPod.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic Opening Track July 15, 2012
This is probably my favorite song from Destroyer's KAPUTT. It's breezy, soft, and jazzy, and while its patience may bore some listeners, it serves as a fantastic track from a consistently good record. The female harmonies that accompany Dan Bejar's voice are wonderful and really extended the story-driven lyrics. The focus on texture and atmosphere becomes a hallmark of KAPUTT, and it serves the song well, making it both accessible and nuanced. Listeners who enjoy this track are encouraged to check out Destroyer's full-length KAPUTT, as this song serves as a pretty good indicator of whether or not you would enjoy the album or not.

1.0 out of 5 stars China Town?? September 9, 2011

I think that someone, on behalf of all the people living in the China Towns across the US, should lead a charge into whatever recording studio managed to get enough people smacked out of their minds to agree that this should be titled "music" and thrust upon the unsuspecting populace. Good thing it was a free download, but I feel someone owes me something for listening to it. I would rather sit in a dumpster in a seedy back alley in any China Town in the US rather than be subjected to this BS.
