Nice idea January 2, 2010
This was a cute idea. My chinchillas love the lava ledges, and they are made out of the same stuff the bottom of this is. They loved chewing on this as well, but they refused to sit on it. All three of them avoided anything but chewing on it. The nice thing however, is that the metal that holds the 'lava stone' is held to the arch with bolts that can be unscrewed. I now buy loofa (the real ones) at the store for cheap, and hang them on this where the stone used to be.

I tried this one out for my ladies. They have no intrest in actually perching in it, they are probably just being picky, but all they do is chew on it- (so it did get some love). However as of this moment- I cant find refills :(
