Poetry you can understand!,

Di Peiro's poetry is simply a revelation. For the poetry challenged, this is the poetry for you. The images simply leap off the page- it has all the best features of 'modern' poetry: brilliant invention of words and word combinations, spot on metaphors, colors, sights, sounds one can actually participate in. I've been so disappointed reading far-out modern stuff that seeks only to be clever, that celebrates only itself. Di Piero's poetry celebrates the world in all its striations.
And best of all, we GET it! |
