Great Gifts
I was very satisfied with this game. It was shipped and arrived at my home before I had expected. The marble bag was very small but a zip lock plastic bag works great. My grandaughter is really pleased with it.

durable classic version of the game
was pleased to find a durable version of this classic. Only wish it were a little larger for small fingers to move about. My 4 year old grandson was enthusiastic! A few spare marbles would be a good idea. I have many more grandkids.

My five year old grandson loves his new Chinese checker set. The wood board is beautiful and seems quite durable. The marbles are beautiful. One problem is that the promised bag for the marbles was not in the package, but a baggie works quite well. I would recommend the game to anyone.

Another home-run! As a teacher, I think this game is great because it can be played by 6 kids at once, a fun group activity for indoor recess or Fun Fridays. The students enjoy playing Chinese Checkers, and it keeps them using defensive and offensive strategies and flexible planning skills. The board is made from durable wood which means it will last through years of wear and tear in the classroom. It comes with a bag to help keep the marbles together.

Chinese Checkers is a classic and in my opinion, this gameset is a really good buy for the price. The wooden board is very sturdy (and heavy I might add) and I love the actual indentations for the marble pieces. My set did come with a bag for the marbles (some reviewers had said they were missing theirs).
My only gripe was that the marbles seem to be coated with cheap paint - and some of them are flaking off a little bit. I wish the set had come with clear glass marble pieces. Overall - fun game and this is a good set to get!

The board is very attractive. The marbles are colorful, but not nearly as nice as the glass marbles of years ago. It would be nice if there were a better way to keep the marbles intact when not playing.
