I've purchased some recipe books here that didn't quite measure up. But this one is filled with great sounding recipes. I'm making the Marinated Honey Chicken Wings to night. Mouth is watering already.

5.0 out of 5 stars 35 Chinese Chicken Recipes February 14, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Chinese food is healthy. That fact is partly responsible for the low percentage of cancer cases in China as compared to the West. The level of breast cancer is even more astonishingly low. Diet plays a major part in keeping it so. That is why I am interested in Chinese food and foods of the East in general.

This book provides you with 35 chicken recipes and it is reassuring, health wise, to read the ingredients that go into preparing these dishes. Unlike many western recipes, these do not need a lot of oil and fats that are so detrimental to arteries.

If you are interested in healthy, tasty food and Chinese food in particular, this book is for you.

5.0 out of 5 stars Who you calling Chicken? November 30, 2012

I really like this book and love the recipes in it. I won't say I've made them all - I haven't yet. But I look forward to making more of them and surprising friends and relatives with my new-found ability to make chicken, well, more.
They are all easy to follow recipes, which is a good thing for me. For you, too, if you ever come to dinner.
Buy it. You'll like it!

4.0 out of 5 stars A Chinese Food Chicken Fanatic's Dream July 9, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I love Chinese style food, especially with chicken, but where I live it's difficult to find a healthy rendition of the classic recipes. This book makes that possible for creating amazing dinners from home that have the authentic taste without having the consequences of fast food.

The recipes are well-organized and the instructions are clear. Unlike some cook books, there are no missing steps or arbitrarily inserted ingredients in the wrong places. The only thing that would have made this book better would be some descriptions of each recipe along with the ingredients and instructions. Too few cookbooks give a quick review of what the dish is going to taste like, i.e. its "special effects" that make them worth including in the book.

But enough of that. Now it's time to go get cooking ...
