I so enjoyed these pictures. They are somewhat advanced for children under 10 because of the time it takes to complete one page. I sit and enjoy using colored pens and colored pencils to enhance each page. What i have done is cut out the design I completed, matted it, and hung it up like a picture I might have purchased.

I really like the pictures in this coloring book but I prefer to color with markers and the pages are too thin. My prisma color markers bleed completely through the pages ruining the image on the flip side. Unless you keep them really sharp, crayons would probably be too thick to color the fine detail with any accuracy. That leaves either using sharp pencils or coping the images onto individual pieces of paper. I wish the publisher had either used thicker paper or only put images on one side of each page.

The patterns are so pretty. add color and imagination, my child produced patterns worth hanging in a frame

I really enjoy coloring in this book. It takes the stress from my day and the designs are beautiful.

I love this product because its so much fun to do. On a rainy day like today when I'm home its a great pasttime. Sometime I don't always read, but coloring these beautiful designs are suitable for framing if your really careful. I even gave a couple to my daughter and she feels the same way. I want you to know that I'm 62 and my daughter is 25 and we are still coloring and with coloring books like these I will color till who knows when! Thanks Sharon Powers in Carson City, NV

The designs are simply beautiful. I was not disappointed when it came! I bought it for myself, but when my 3rd grade students saw it, they wanted pages to color. The designs are not too difficult for 8 year olds.

The pictures were back to back. I use markers to color with, and I have to choose which picture on one page (both sides) I want to color, because the prints are on both side. Beautiful designs, but extremely disappointing.

This book has beautiful designs. Many of them are also very detailed and the space to color is small, and some of the designs are rather small on the page. I colored one in about an hour and a half, which was a little disappoiting because on a full page picture I will spend anywhere from 5-8 hours. Never the less, I enjoyed it and would recommend it.

The Dover coloring books are great, the designs are wonderful, and I'm enjoying the time I spend coloring in them.

One thing to note, if you use markers there is some bleed through to the next page. It is unfortunate that I did not test this before I started out using markers. Colored pencils would be my recommendation unless you scan and print each picture on an individual page to color with markers.

I would order these again, and I'll probably end up ordering some for my daughter as she likes to spend time coloring intricate designs as well.

This book has the prettiest designs and will be a nice welcome challenge during the hot summers days when I don't feel like doing much else. I might just try and copy some designs onto t-shirts for my family.
