I'm not an astrological fanatic, however it's really intriguing to me how accuarte this book was. My brother was the initial owner of the previous addition which was wonderful- My family was so intrigues that after eleven signs testes with people in our family- at the end, we all agreed that all were virtually accurate. Recently, I went to the bookstore to buy the new edition- which was essentially the same. Naturally, I thought that maybe the yearly advice for each animal would be different since the change in years- this was not true however. The book, if you do not own it - is probably the most accurate thing out there, however- it does not pay to get both editions. -enjoy!

i used to read books on eastern astrology and didnt find alot of it to be true, and i started reading books about chinese astrology, and im amazed at the things it says in these books that are so true that its scary. im suprised that more people dont know more about this type of astrology.

Lau explains chinese astrological theory in plain language. She is direct, very matter-of-fact, and does not soften the truth. She is democratic and does not show favor to any given branch/sign as some other authors of astrology books often do. And the most phenomenal thing about this book is how ACCURATE it is. It's very helpful in understanding human relationships (romantic, professional, short-term/long-term) and why some work with little to no effort and others may or may not work depending on the efforts each party is willing to put in. By the end, you'll have a new appreciation for people and their beautiful differences no matter how weird they may seem at times. Relationships make the world go 'round.

I received this book as a birthday gift and am very pleased with my friend's choice. Great book!

I bought it for my sister because she wanted to know about other diffetent types if zodiacs and she really loves the book.

This is an outstanding work, clear and perceptive, by someone who is a master of their subject. Theodora Lau goes deeper and is linked to her tradition in a way that few authors on the subject are but especially amongst those writing for a western audience. If your looking for a real understanding and a meeting with the Chinese tradition then don't go past this book.

I'm assuming anyone that wants to read this type of book will understand that it might be an uncomfortable read because once you read yourself on the page, it's almost...a vulnerable state you're left in. It's a very interesting read and it's great to see things from an unbiased perspective. It helps you try to see things without opinion and being more open to others opinions, personalities, and ideas! I really enjoyed reading this book!

It also came in a timely manner and in good shape!

Anything written by Theodora Lau is nothing else than excellent. She always gives the right information.

If I was able to, I'd actually give it three and a half stars.

Theodora Lau is pretty descent but I think that just focusing on matchmaking be can very limiting especially when you're utilizing only the twelve signs.

Could be more thorough...

by Theodora Lau, you should buy this one next, it has things that the other doesnt, and in my opinion and my parents, that are both astrologers, they consider Theodora Lau the best astrologer and most accurate.
