I didn't get what I ordered. I received lanterns alright, but with a completely different design. My lanterns have bright splashes of pink over the entire lantern shade. There are no branches with cherry blossoms on the design like the one shown. I guess the company figured they sent something that looked close enough, but I think I just got cheated and lost $15 on something I did not want. Shame on M.V. Trading Company for doing that.

I ordered two of these Japanese Lanters to hang in the trees for my backyard fall wedding. They arrived in perfect condition and look wonderful! They will be a great addition to our small backyard wedding next fall :-)

I purchased 3 of these to go in my Asian red and black themed bedroom. They accent the room perfectly, though they're a lot bigger than I had imagined. I haven't tried adding light to them yet, they're just decoration. Yes they are a little thin and fragile, but if you are careful and hang them and leave them alone, it's not a problem. And they're super cheap so if it breaks, just buy another!

The lamp will look cute (as in ok) if you don't look at it up close. It is so fragile that it ripped a little bit just opening it. There is a reason it is sold for $5 - you get what you paid for. |
