I bought these shoes for one outfit, but I may wear them more often. The base is very sturdy, and the cloth on the gold ones I bought was flexible and comfortable.
I bought 1/2 a size up to potentially prevent my toes from being mashed to a pulp. They fit fine, and may of been too small had I not ordered up. And I can't hardly believe that they're comfortable to actually wear. They didn't cut my feet, didn't hurt my feet, and I walked in them quite a lot. High heels always usually hurt my feet. These deserve 5 stars! Woo!
If I was to make a change it would be the buckle. It looks great but I had a harder time with it than with most shoe buckles. But, it's a minor thing.

Bought these through Amazon, they had the best price by far. BUT>>> the shoes came w/ a black smudge on heal, I couldnt get off. and they smelled funky, kinda like fish when I opened the box.. that went away though. I had them for about 2 weeks and the sole started to disconect from the shoe. The THIN cork "veneer" also started to fall off. and the soles started to wear REAL Quick in the front(apx 1mo. befor I had them put a protective sole on them...which for me the back heal is usually what I have to get replaced.) The leather stretches out also. LOVED the look!! LOVED the comfort & fit before they stretched out!!! Not sure if I just got a defective pair... Might buy from here again, but wont ever if it happens a second time. I have a pair of Chinese Laundry I bought 3+ years ago and I replaceed the heal about 4 mo. ago. I take care of my shoes. I have a pair of Nine west Ive had for over 25 yrs, w/ NO problems and the heals are fine. (one of my favorite pairs of shoes!) Just purchase w/ caution.Mine were the silver.

Love these. These shoes are very comfortable and sexy at the same time, which sometimes seems impossible for ladies shoes. The gold color matches everything and the ankle strap makes for a secure walk. I can wear these shoes for hours without an issue.

People I normally wear a size 9 in heels but these shoes run big, the 9 fits more like an 11 and they look like grandma shoes, very cheap looking..I hate the gold especially, so I returned and I did get a refund very quick!

I had been "shoe stalking" these for awhile and then could not find my size anywhere! Finally came across these on Amazon and while they were a little but big (had to go a size up) I am very pleased with my purchase. Thank u!

I am so happy with these shoes. They are comfortable and a breeze to walk in. It is very difficult even finding a single pair of high heels that are not moderately demanding, but with these there is no trouble. My job requires me to wear heels all day so these are the perfect shoes for me! I hope that chinese laundry will manufacture more so that I can get another color!!

These feel and look like they will be very comfortable. I've only worn them (tried them on) around the house but even though they are higher than they look they still give you the stability and comfort that platforms are known for. The black looks more like a very dark purple or very dark navy but not so much so that you wouldn't be able to pass them off as black.

These lovely sandals are billed as "Bootsy platform dress", and yes, they are a little dressy, but I feel perfectly comfortable pairing them with jeans, a cute top, and best of all, some dangly gold hoop earrings. And yet with the right dress, these come across as being quite dressy (hence the name), so you really do have the best of both worlds.

Just as the other ladies reviewing these shoes have said, these are very comfortable to walk in. These are just such well-designed shoes, and they look SO classy! They're sexy and elegant too.

I highly recommend these lovely shoes! Get them!

I bought these from DSW a while back and I was skeptical because I am a tall girl. I went on ahead and bought them because they are soooo cute and seemed to be comfortable. I wore these shoes out and had no problems at all. Dancing! Walking! My feet did not hurt and I was surprised. I purchased the bronze color and paired them with dark jeans.

Although these shoes have a really high heal, they are so comfortable to wear all day long. I work as a bank teller and am on my feet all day, but I can wear these shoes very comfortably. They look fabulous as well. The gold buckle really adds to the overall look and breaks up the black color of the rest of the shoe. I always get lots of compliments when I wear these shoes. The shoe is well constructed and looks great with dresses or jeans for a night out. Totally worth every penny!
