I was very apprehensive about buying these. A 5" heel is just not a realistic venture for me. I just returned a pair of Jessica Simpson T Strikers that I really liked the looks of, I couldn't walk in them, the 5" heel was too wobbley and uncomfortable for me. These, however, these are very nice, very comfy, I don't feel tipsy or wobbley at all. Very surprising for such a tall heel. I think the platform has something to do with that, it's also substantial, over an inch. I bought these fully expecting to return them but wanted to try them on to see. These are keepers.

I have Jessica Simpson's Striker too, and I don't have a problem with them. However, I was a bit nervous purchasing such a tall heel without trying them on first. I decided to do so after reading the other review, and I'm so glad I did. These shoes are amazing. They make my feet look so sexy, and very comfortable to walk in. Now I'm used to wearing high heels, most of my shoes are 4" and up. These are definitely one of my most comfortable pairs. Highly recommend them.

I spotted this shoe in a pop up ad for Lucky magazine and thought they were gorgeous. So the hunt began to find out the style name and brand. One stop brought me to Amazon where they had the black ones available. Since I use shoes as the fun part of my wardrobe for my office job, I purchased the black ones. While I was waiting for them to arrive I spotted a brown pair in a store and had to try them on. It was love at first fit. The footbed is padded so it's extra comfortable, and the platform reduces the height of the heel to a comfortable angle. It's a heavy shoe, but it gives you height, comfort, and style all in one. Once I received my black pair I was delighted to try them on and realize it was not a fluke on how comfortable they are.

I bought the tan pair and was very pleasantly surprised to find them very stable. I manage to wear the all night long and not feel like my feet would fall off. I came across them in half a size smaller in black for a great deal. I bought them and wore them for my college graduation. I was fine in them all day and received so many complements. I did wear them to work recently and that was not the best idea. I am on my feet all day at work, so they did get sore. THey are great for social occassion, but I wouldn't reccommend them if you will be on your feet for extended periods of time.

I bought these shoes in my normal size and they are way too tight. The sole fits fine, however there is not enough room allowed from the top of the foot around the back of the ankle. Also, these shoes looked "fun" online, but actually looked very "trashy" in person.

I also do not like that Amazon doesn't offer free return shipping on shoes. Shoes are a hard to buy online, as the sizes/fit can vary from shoe to shoe. If Amazon does not want to pay for return shipping, I might as well buy from a store or Zappos. You are not offering me a convenience with this type of online shopping, so what's the point? In fact, it was a hassle to return! From now on, I'll go to a store or pay a few bucks more on Zappos (who gladly gives return shipping).

Love these . I agree very comfy and i didnt like the striker either and i love J simpson shoes. They do run a bit big though. I could of gotten a hlaf size smaller.
