OVERALL: If you want gorgeous, comfortable boots at a good price, THESE BOOTS ARE SUPER GREAT!

COMFORT: These are as comfortable as slippers! How many boots can you say that about?

SIZING: I was anxious about buying online, since you can't try these on first, but they have a lot of room for the toes. I wear a size 8, though my problem is that sometimes an 8 is too tight in the toes and if I go up a half size, they slip on the heel. But THESE BOOTS ARE THE PERFECT FIT! I ordered my normal size 8. The boots are really comfy in the toes, but don't slip on the heel. I can wiggle my toes in these! (But they look nice and narrow from the outside.)

LENGTH: If you want really long boots over your knees, these probably aren't for you. I am 5'4" and they come just below my knee. They are the perfect length for me, however, since I can wear any skirt with them. My last pair of black boots came up just over my calf, and that limited me to a longer skirt to cover them.

CALF ROOM: They have LOTS of room in the calf, and also have an elastic wedge in the back.

LEATHER: They are very soft, and look like good leather boots. They look like a boot I would buy at Nordstrom, but are a lot better deal for the $.

So I am here to return the favor with my thoughts for you on my new gorgeous boots!

I wanted a nice pair of boots that could be worn to work and still look professional, with more of a riding look than pirate or elf.

My heart was set on the fantastic Bottega Veneta riding boots Gwyneth Paltrow gets to wear as a part of her "uniform",[...] but paying $1100 was just...fantasyland.

So these little boots are the stand-in and they try hard. Not the best leather, true. Wipe them down with some KIWI Express Shine and the leather looks a bit more expensive.

Excellent fit and comfort though. I wear them without socks and they're so comfy, I wish I could wear them everyday. (Note to self: buy more dresses for these boots so I can wear them everyday). No ugly zipper either.

Probably the best feature besides comfort, is the height. These boots reach nearly to the knee, instead of stopping mid-calf like so many others and making the leg look stumpy. These are much more flattering and lengthen the silhouette.

I do wish they came in a heavier leather (they'd be absolutely perfect then) but for 100 bucks, they work, and quite nicely at that.

These boots are amazing. Stylish and easy to pull on. The leather is incredibly soft and can be pushed down to make a shorter version. I'm so happy I found these and would definitely recommend them. Also, have had complements galore.

I decided to purchase this item after reading all of the customer reviews and to put is simply, I wasn't satisfied. I was looking for something that was snug around the calf area and this boot was not. It leaned toward looking like a pirate boot, especially if you folded the top down. So if you are looking for something that is really fitted around the leg, I would not recommend this boot, since it is a little loose and slouchy.

I got these boots in the mail and was very happy with my order. The color and texture is actually way better in person. I really wanted that orangey cognac color leather and these are just perfect!

The top part of the boot actually folds down, more like pirate boots. The leather is very thin and buttery, which I like, but they aren't as structured as they look in the photo. As you wear them, they will naturally slouch down and get a lot more slack towards the bottom. So they're not going to be as perky as a riding boot or anything. But like I said, that's what I like about them.

I only wish that the shaft diameter were a little tighter, but I have pretty tiny legs so it's probably just me. My heels kind of slip up and down when I walk, but nothing major. They are still extremely comfortable and have never caused any blisters or foot pain. And I have walked a lot in them now.

Really nice boots, very versatile. I would definitely recommend them.

(Oh, and the shoe box they come in is pretty cute too. :) It was too cute to throw away, so I'm going to find some decorative use for it.)

The first thing that struck me about these boots was how SUPER THIN the leather is, paper thin really. My pair is pretty slouchy and crinkly and the leather has started to scuff off.

I have my pair of Steve Madden Intyce boots from last year and the leather on those feels like a luxury brand compared to these. I have started wearing those again because these are just so thin.

I'm a size 6 shoe and got a 6.5 as I typically do in boots to account for tights and the fit was fine.

I didn't like the elastic at the top of the boots on the back, it definitely contributed to the boots falling down and being slouchy. If you need a wider calf boot, consider this one.

wore them almost every day on my trip to Houston,to the beach with jeansinside,to the stores with long skirt and dinner with shirt.Love them.I'm 66 and 5'5",wear a 7 1/2 or 8. got 8 so i could wear socks and they are perfect.

This boot fits great, is very similar to the color on the screen, but the leather upper portion is very soft and flimsy which I was not expecting. I thought it would be more stiff, but it is almost cloth consistency. You can't tell once its on, however.

I love boots, but I don't want to pay a whole lot for them. I thought that I had found the answer in these Chinese Laundry Newbie's. Unfortunately, they looked very cheap and the leg opening was quite large. They were similar to boots my mother got for 1/2 the price at another cheap online website. Not what I was looking for.

I love these books they are great for everyday and at a great price. They fit perfectly around my legs (not to tight or loose)
Overall I would buy from this company's label again!
