This title is a very good general information source for the novice and experienced hobby breeder alike. The sections on care and breeding are informative and simple in explanation, making the book helpful for even the youngest fancier. Photos and descriptions included in the book are quite helpful for those who have never seen them. While the creation of new varieties continues, the original color descriptons are included. The general information concerning care and feeding is drawn from the author's apparent long experience with many quail. Information on special diets as well as sources for some supplies and equipment are included. Anyone interested in keeping these small quail in any capacity would do well to have a copy of this book for their reference library.

I love Amazon, and find it is usually the best place to purchase boks. However, this particular book is much cheaper at places such as Murry McMurry. Just thought I would share.
