This book in an invaluable tool if you really want to learn Chinese painting.It is the next best thing to actually having a live teacher. The instructions are step by step, very thorough and easy to follow. Not only are the instructions excellent, but the book also emphasizes the spiritual aspects of the art form. I believe that is an integral part of this form of painting which is equally important as the techniques .The book also has a lot of interesting historical facts throughout. If you are serious about learning this art, this book is a must have book!
