You'll learn many things from reading the book or listening to the tapes. I have a huge collection of educational tapes/CDs and this one is placed on the top 5 of my list. One technique is presented in the book (also in the audio version) describes the method to activate the Kundalini which usually the teachers do not teach unless the seeker passes the initiation.
