haynes you have done it again. i have been working on my own vehicles for a few years now and refer to the haynes manuals quite often. this book has saved me hundreds in repairs already, and has easily paid for itself in just working knowledge. while the vast array of scooters it covers is quite large, most chinese honda engine cloned scooters are quite similar. my scooter is not covered by brand in the model but i have just taken the owner's manual factory settings and applied them to the book. it makes life easy. if you dont have a clue with a wrench dont ape it. try reading an even more general guide first such as the haynes general motorcycle workshop series. all mechanical engines work in the same fashion- moving air. so if you cant find the exact model dont fret. chances are if its a honda clone (gy6) it will be covered here. this is my bedtime story book/bible.

Haynes manuals are always the best buy out there when it comes to car books. With this scooter book they have to cover so many brands and models that the instructions become a bit generic. It gives the basics, but you are left to find your own way to the specifics. It is much better than the laughable manual that comes with your scoot, which generally suffers from a language barrier (saying things like, "Done put scooter in fire, or it may burned up"). I was able to do a valve adjustment using this book, but I backed it up with several other sources. It IS better than no manual at all!

If you mean to maintain a smallish scooter you should have this around. Lots of pics, you might not see yours exactly but you'll understand what you're lookin at. Lots of repair procedure how-to for 2-stroke and 4-stroke teardown and rebuild, frame, electrics testing, suspension, carburetor, body, wheels. You will know where to begin and if you should. Data (torques, carburetor adjusts, fluid capacities, ignition, gaps, etc.) for a dozen or so models with 2-stroke (49, 49.3, 49.4 (3 models), 49.8, 101.3cc) and 4-stroke (49.5 (5 models), 101, 124, 124.6 (4 models), 163cc) engines in the back. My make was'nt here but my 139QMB motor was. Lot of good shop method here. This Haynes manual a fine resource if you gonna work on your small scooter.
