5.0 out of 5 stars Great intro for a non-expert in the kitchen, March 13, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Chinese (What's Cooking) (Hardcover)
My wife usually cooks, but sometimes I like to try out new stuff in the kitchen. This book was perfect for the non-expert cook who likes Chinese food. It has loads of pictures that show you most of the steps in the recipe, and there are lots of notes to explain more unusual ingredients. There are really easy stirfry recipes, that we use all the time now. All in all, a good Chinese cookbook.

Really great cookbook, easy to follow instructions and great illustrations with great tasting results. Haven't tried everything but the things we have made are delicious and easy. Haven't had one recipe that we haven't enjoyed, although we do have favorites!
