I have no less than 30 different I Ching books, and this is ONE OF THE BEST. Not only is it an extremly practical edition, but by far more congruent than most. Mondo Secter also provides a systematic approach that helps to not only clarify, but to simpliy. I like to combine this book with "The Elements of the I Ching," by Stephen Karcher
to bring in a touch of the symbolic which also brings in variety to interpretation. But as a practical guide, " The I Ching Clarrified" is unsurpassed. nmd

good based introduction to I Ching,

Several features make this guide to the oracular use of the I Ching especially useful. Included is a new coin method that approximates the complexity of the traditional yarrow stalk method and original theories on the evolution of the hexagrams and the meaning of the transitional hexagrams
