I bought this book years ago and have been using it since the day I bought it. It is simple and Richard explains how to use with ease. Well worth the $$$ (comes with a deck of cards)

Namaste: I purchased this set over 5 years ago. The set comes with 64 beautifully illustrated cards to represent the meaning of the hexagram to which is refers. The book explains in easy to understand language how to determine the messages hidden within the I Ching. While Gill admits that his translation of the I Ching may not be approved by scholars, he has done a fine job of simplifying the meanings for a modern, up to date, translation which for me, works just beautifully. The remaining 8 cards are of the main symbols of Yin and Yang, known as the Trigrams. It is by the use of the Trigrams that one creates the Hexagrams for wisdom, direction, and outcomes.

These cards can be read for one's own self or for someone else. As a professional psychic and tarot reader, I find the accuracy and wisdom of the I Ching to be on par with that of the Tarot. Gill's philosophical explanation of how the I Ching works is in alignment with that of my own, making this system a daily tool for spiritual alignment.

Gill offers a very brief history of the development of the I Ching. Gill states "... I feel bound to make it clear that most serious students of the I Ching would gravely disapprove of the simpler method that I have developed in this book. I can only say that it has been continually approved by the I Ching itself and that it works most effectively." As a user, I concur. The messages I have received using Gill's method have proven to be astoundingly on target and the advice and ability to provide future outcomes amazingly accurate.

It is a fantastic 'jumping off' point and of course opens the door to anyone who is interested in how the Universe will bring to you the messages you seek, the guidance you desire and the comfort of knowing that all things are connected. There are many doors to help us tune into our higher spiritual energies. The I Ching is just one of those doors and Gill maks it fantabulously simple!
