Cheap at twice the price!,

This review is from: Chinook Cascade Widemouth 32 Ounce Stainless Steel Bottle (Kitchen)
I own two of these fine bottles and feel they're one of the best deals out there. They're very sturdy, and in several months of using them both for camping and using daily in class I've never had a leak or a dent. Unlike many (most?)inexpensive bottles, the lids fit very well. No matter how tight you screw down the cap it feels solid with no indication it wants to strip the threads. Once you remove the cap there's no plastic on the bottle, allowing you to boil water in them to sterilize. At the price I have no complaints; however, if I wanted to quibble the base is a little bit sharp where it meets the walls. A little radiusing would be nice just to keep it from eventually wearing thru a bottle holder or bag.
But for the price, 5 stars all the way. I'd rather have two of these than one Kleen Kanteen!

Great bottles for the price, I mean they aren't super thick and insulated or anything but you can't expect that from cheap bottles. The lids seal wonderfully and the clips are strong enough to hold it on a bag without worrying about it breaking or anything. I have a powder coating gun so I took mine out, sealed the tops, and powder coated the outside of the bottles. So if anyone is wondering they will hold a charge for if you want to powder coat them. The powder itself also sticks very well and smooths out the sharp angle at the bottom another reviewer mentioned. I take them biking and to and from class regularly and they have yet to dent or anything. I scratched one but that was my own fault while I was trying to fit my bottle holders on my bike to them, the holder was way too tight and it put a little tiny scratch in the surface. Overall a wonderful buy for the price, even some of the slightly more expensive ones I've had aren't as good. But if you want the really good ones of course you have to pay the price. If you just want cheap ones that will last though, these are your bottles. UPDATE: These stood up well all summer, didn't even get any dents in them except for one (which was my fault, I dropped it off the deck) but the bottle is still good and the dent is quite small considering it fell about 10 ft. Quality bottles at a nice cheap price.

nearly perfect,
Very good Item quality. Would change one thing and put a chamfer on the bottom of bottle, the edge is a little sharp. Large threads on twist off top make it easy to put on and off. The small carabineer and small ring attached is nice for a key ring but I wouldn't trust it to hold, I'll put a small loop of para cord thru there instead or a larger carabineer. Washed the bottle with dish soap and then baking soda and have no metal taste yet. All in all a very good bottle, paired it with an insulated tote bag which help keeps warm warm and cold cold. No leaks so far from the gasket in the top which does not need to be overly tight to seal. May buy another for emergency kit. The price is amazing for this product bought a few other items and saved on shipping costs from Amazon.
