I am another person who grew up watching this movie. I just loved all these songs when I was a kid but I have to admit I was surprised when I loved them just as much as an adult. These songs are extremely well written. The nostalgia makes me so happy it brings tears to my eyes. If you grew up watching this movie as well, you should definitely pick up this sndtrk...even if only for the memories. I promise you won't regret it!

I have loved this movie since I was a little girl (I'm now 25 with a child of my own) and would watch it over and over again....It was so bad that My mom said that the dog could have recited the script And a few years ago I looked for the Soundtrack for some reason and only found it on cassette. I bought it and played it over and over (It finally died) and I just replaced it. The songs are wonderful and playful I really love the songs "Girls of rock and roll" and "my mother". It's probally true that only real fans of the movie and little kids would like this CD but are we not all kids at heart? I hope that some day my own daughter will pick this soundtrack up and listen to all the fun songs on it.

Okay I've read some of the reviews and I agree with some of them but not all. The only non-chipmunks fans that wouldnt like this are the people who dont like the voices which at times make it hard to tell what they are singning. This movie is more recent than 1987 because then i was only a year old when it came out and i remeber buying it at a costco. There are 3 new songs on this soundtrack which make it better from the clips I've heard. Mexican Holiday and Flying with the egals probably would have gone where Lo Gusta and Off to see the world are. I love this soundtrack and I think anyone who gave it a chance would too. Thats the bottom line.Preview the songs just in case thats what they are for!

I really think this sound track is the best sound track Ive ever listend too.I am Brittany's #1 fan and my mom says i'm almost exactly like her. my faveorite songs are Girls of rock and roll,getting lucky,and dimond dolls. go britt! you go girl!

Anyone who is fan of the movie (as I am) or just loves animated film soundtracks will love this album. It features all the songs from the movie that EVERYONE knows the words to. Kids love it but adults will also find this hard to put down. This happens to be my favorite animated film of all time and may be a bit biased so I suggest you buy this now and thank me later.

I LOVE the chipettes! and of course, the CHIPMUNKS! This is one of the best soundtracks ever made. My fave songs off of this are, "Girls of Rock 'N Roll" and "Gettin' Lucky". It's also a great movie. It was my fave when I was little. I am almost 20, and still love the chipmunks/chipettes! I hope they bring the movie out on DVD SOON!

this is a great cd with lots of original sound. girls of rock'n roll is one of my favorites. but nothing even comes close to the sound of gettin' lucky with you. that song has the right tune and everything. the girls really were able to put the moves on those snakes.

How has noone mentioned Off To See the World??? This song alone makes the CD worth buying!! The other songs are sweet too, but in my opinion, its all about Off to see the World.

So me and my sister Dster are obsessed with this movie, we have been ever since we were wee tots. The soundtrack really makes this movie, and our favorite songs are Girls of Rock and Roll, Diamond Dolls, and Wooly Bully. We love Alvin and have had a crush on him forever. For all u Chipmunk fans, Pierre Cardin socks 4 LIFE!!!!
