I found this book extremely enjoyable to read. It was simply written and informative. I was glad to see so many illustrations. Lois Brunner Bastian did a thorough job taking notes of what she saw in her back yard, and her sharing of this experience, an experience which many people don't usually have, was descriptive. People of all ages who want to learn more about these creatures or who simply enjoy reading nature books would find this book delightful.
