THIS IS A WONDERFUL BOOK ABOUT "CHIPPIES",

WE LIVE ON A KNOLL INHABITED BY "CHIPPIES", THEY ARE SUCH HAPPY, INQUISITIVE "SOULS" . I HAD TO KNOW ALL THERE IS TO KNOW ABOUT CHIPMUNKS WHEN WE MOVED INTO "THEIR " TERRITORY...THIS BOOK IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST...I HAD TO HAVE A LOCAL BOOKSELLER ORDER IT FOR ME BACK IN 1979 OR 80, IT WAS JUST AS BIG A HIT WITH MY NIECES AS THEY GREW UP ASKING TO READ ME THE CHIPMUNK BOOK, SO ADULTS AND CHILDREN ALIKE WILL LOVE THIS BOOK!!!

I love all of Edwin Tunis' books. I'm most familiar with his historical stuff---and this book, like the others, is filled with wonderful facts. It's a gentle book--with FABUL0US illustrations (which, as an artist myself, I can tell were done from first-hand observation.) If you're into looking at nature (especially "everyday" nature), and wanting to know more, this would be a great book for you!
