I grew up with Alvin and the Chipmunks when I was a kid so I bought this for my 2 1/2 year old. I didnt know if he would be intrested but he loves it. Especially being so close to Halloween. It has two Alvin scary cartoons.
I only wish it had the Original "Were the Chipmunks..." theme song from the 80's cartoon. I hope they release a regular set of the cartoon soon too.
Also comes with a Archie cartoon and a Monster Cartoon

Ok, for those parents out there who want their kids to see what Alvin and The Chipmunks were BEFORE the new movie, this dvd is a must. It's full of fun videos sure to please young and old alike. In our house, it's hard to say who likes it more, the man or the kids. hahahaha

This DVD is a great buy! The picture is lovely, and I have failed to notice one flaw in this DVD.
If you have small children, introudce them to Alvin and the gang, they won't be disspointed, and in my opion, it's better than today's programming. (Blue's clues, Dora the explorer etc)

Who can resist the loveable antics of a character thats so funny and silly?
I loved the movie "The Chipmunks Meet Frankenstein", the most, and the songs that the Chipmunks sang !
I wish that they would release more Chipmunks cartoons to DVD.

This is a great mix from all of the TV classics that i loved as a child. These shows aren't really aired anymore even as re-runs on the TV, so it is brand new material according to my kids. They don't seem to mind the lower and older quality of the production video and really enjoy each of the stories on these DVDs!

why were they named chipmunks. chip | munks

I think it's a Good movie. I haven't seen it but My grand-neice has and She LOVES it.

My four year old loves the funny things the Chipmunks do in this video. Not scary, just right for little kids. Isn't as enjoyable to watch over and over again for parents like other classic cartoons.

I bought two of the DVD's. One was for my 7 year old daughter and the other was for my nephews ages 5 & 7. They were glued. My daughter has been watching it non-stop. Her favorite Monster Mash. She found it to be very funny.

Great collection of Chipmunks and even an Archie cartoon. My 3 year old LOVES this.
