I have enjoyed reading all the John Malcolm's I can get my hands on. He mixes a fun energetic detective story with very compelling art history lessons thrown in. Excellent writing and compelling stories - Thank you Mr Malcolm for many enjoyable readings.

This was not a Tim Simpson mystery so I was disappointed. Also too wordy, not full of the action in the Tim Simpson books.

Tim Simpson is a very complex man, an ex-rugger and rather rough around the edges; yet very sensitive and erudite about his art. You never know just what Tim is going to get into next, and neither do his friends or his lady. Fun and exciting - and lovely art history all combined !
