I've been buying Chippewa for years. I was very happy to find this style. For some reason it is never sold at retail stores. I think it may be because they are not insulated but I prefer that for summer wear. For me the combination of excellent construction and being cool and breathable they are the best boot.

Excellent quality American made boots. Highly recommended for the price. They look even better than in the pics.

These boots are great. I wear them on concrete floor all day and, they are very supportive and comfortable. They are probably the best looking boots I've seen too. The leather is thick and the sole is replaceable. Buy an American made boot you won't disappointed stay away from the chinese imposters!

I can hardly say enough about these boots. As someone who has trouble finding good shoes that fit (golf-ball sized bunions on both feet), and who is pretty hard on shoes, I've tried almost every "wide" shoe available. Most are serious trade-offs between ruggedness and comfort. The comfortable ones wear out, the rugged ones are like blocks of wood on your feet. These are high-quality, very rugged, and very comfortable boots. Some of the best I've owned.

The boots are great, just like loggers I have purchased from WPS. If you have not purchased Chippewa before:

They are supposed to be stiff in the beginning, it is due to the quality of the leather and construction. It will break in over the course of several days and will then be very comfortable.

I suggest putting some Sno-Seal on the boots if you will be walking through snow or in rain.

I really like the brand. Before I wore basic work boots, all shipped in from overseas. The quality difference is astounding. To ID the boots from Chippewa that are USA made, look for the flag on the shoelaces. I have not tried the foreign-made Chippewa boots.
