5.0 out of 5 stars Great Fit!, November 29, 2011
Bought mine last weekend at GandLClothing in Des Moines, Iowa. Excellent close out price of 97.00 bucks. My 1st pair of Chippewa Boots and was amazed from when I 1st put them on in the store. I normally wear 11 1/2 and found those too large. 11 was just right with room to move around including a thick sock.
I can tell there will be a little break-in needed around upper tounge.
Solid boot!

These boots are excellent, Chippewa continues to make high quality boots. They run somewhat tight, but form
to foot for a perfect fit.

5.0 out of 5 stars These boots are a STEAL at this price, May 26, 2011

I love these boots. I own several pair of Chippewa work boots, but this is the first pair of the logger style for me. I find the raised heel helps take some of the impact/fatigue off the rear of my feet; they feel better at the end of the day. I bought the 2E-wide version and wear with wool socks. I like just a bit of room in the forefoot so my feet can "expand" when the work gets tough. The Vibram sole is nice and heavy duty. I recommend a thorough lube with Obenauf goo, for weather protection. The included kiltie tongue protector is a bit short for an 8" boot; I recommend replacing with a taller version to protect the tongue. Very well-made boots. These are a bargain compared to the "big name" guys (Wesco, Hoffman, etc.) If you work outdoors or do maintenance/mechanical kinds of jobs and don't need a steel toe, these are your boots.
