My husband wears logger boots to work in because the raised heel keeps him from getting lower back pain as quickly as a flat bottomed boot. He likes these boots. They look very nice and will be great in the winter time. So far my only disappointment is that I somehow missed the part in the descriptions saying they are steel toe, which are a lot heavier than he normally wears to keep his back from hurting. He likes them still and decided to keep them.
He has had them for a few weeks and the are a great boot, great quality, and try fit as expected.

The website says how they take pride in being made in America.. Well the big "made in China" tag on them says otherwise. The American made boots are $100 more. Also, the description did not mention that they were steel toe!!

I gave these boots the rating I did because they fit perfect and they are of great quality. I would recommend these boots to anyone who wants quality over quantity. The only dislike I have is that it's not made in America.

Great boots, It took me a little getting used to the higher heel coming from flat boots. You really need to get the lacing good and tight to make sure your foot stays put and doesn't slide around. Go on you tube to get some lacing tips, they really do help to tweak the pressure zones on your foot. I found my foot was moving and sliding a little inside the boot even with tight lacing, but a few hiking/runner lacing tips from youtube to get the laces tight in the right places and the problem was solved. I also added a lambs wool sole insert from the pharmacy which helped with this - now my foot stays put and is comfortable. It took me a few days to get used to walking in the higher heel and to get the lacing etc correct for my foot, but now I can wear these all day and they are great. Love the extra height and the tough look of the boot. Once you get used to these and let them break it for a few days, you'll love them.

Got my boots today and they're exactly ehat I expected. I always buy steel toe boots and in the description it didn't state that they were but they are. I will leave another review after more use. The only problem one boot has was that there was a bubble in the sole. A little upset but I'll get over it. Another thing is that these aren't made in the U.S., they are made in China. Overall very good boot

I wear a size 15 in just about everything, with the exception of steel toe boots which I usually have to go a size larger. I decided to take the plunge and order these in 15 XW and I am very glad I did. They fit perfectly, just enough room in the toe so my toes aren't squished and the XW gives my foot a nice amount of breathing space without the boots feeling like they are going to fall off.
