HANDCRAFTED IN THE USA BY JUSTIN! I was going back and forth trying to decide between these and the "Justin Double Comfort 4760 Work Boot". I decided on these because I was very happy with my last Chippewa purchase and I preferred the subdued styling of these boots, plus the seasonal Amazon "20% off Western foot wear" brought them down to the same price. They are essentially the same boot with a different sole and slightly different styling details. Chippewa is a Justin Brands company so these are almost certainly made on the same USA line as the Justin 4760 boots.

First off so you know how to size them and what to expect while breaking them in, you should consult the Justin Fit Guide and Video by searching Google for 'Justin Boots Fit Guide'.

I took their advice and went one size down from my shoe size, and they are perfect. At first I tried a pair only one-half size smaller than my shoe size but they were too large. So I went one full size down and got the right 'pop' and also the right grip on the top of my foot with no excess leather across the top. My big toe on my larger foot was a little cramped in the width but that worked itself out with a little 'working' of the boot by hand (i.e. I crunched the toe every which way) and a few hours of wearing them. Now they are very comfortable boots and they get more comfortable by the hour!

The true color is pretty well depicted by the photos - so what you see is what you'll get. You can't go wrong, Enjoy!

Really comfortable and made well...two thing you must look for in a boot. Took a couple tries to get the right fit boots...they run big. I am normally a 13 EE and went with a 12D.

I've had Georgia Boots & red wings. These are my favorite. Their broken in and the rubber sole has grip & doesn't collect mud. I've worn for 2 weeks and feet feel great. Very comfortable out of the box.

I bought these Chippewa boots from Amazon for $112. I have a small foot, size 7 but ordered a 7 EE size. They are a little loose but I wanted these boots to wear for winter use with heavy wool socks and they fit fine for my purposes. For normal thinner socks I would have gone down a 1/2 size. I would rather have them too loose than too tight. If I changed out the padded removable insole to a little thicker one they would be perfect. They are comfortable and are easy to slip on and off. I live in Minnesota and my slippers just do not work too well when I take the dog out when there is 2 feet of snow everywhere! I also have a pair of Red Wing 2990 engineer boots which I bought at the Red Wing outlet basement store in Red Wing. They were seconds and on sale for $99 so I could not refuse. They are great boots too, had to go with an 8 D as they had no 7's or 7 l.5's. They are a little loose to and a little tight where my left little toes is but they are getting broken in. They did not come with any removable insole so I added a nice foam set I had in my shoe parts box. I would say that so far the Chippewa boot is as good as the Red Wing considering the price. I just could not see spending $300 on the Red Wings. I cannot find what was wrong with the Red Wing boots but who cares at $99. Highly recommend the Chippewa 20075 boots.

I just put them on and went about my day. A couple of sore spots on my feet for the first day or so but are as comfortable as all get out a week and a half later. Buy American!

Without question the most comfortable boot that I have ever owned. Felt broken in within hours. Excellent quality and workmanship.

Let me preface this by saying that I just received these boots after ordering yesterday (I sprung for next-day air). I haven't worn pull-on boots in decades, but I recently got a motorcycle and I wanted to replace my lace-up, steel toe boots with something that wasn't so heavy on my feet. I didn't want to fool with laces, but I was a bit leery about how a pull-on would feel; I normally wear sandals to work. Well, I just put them on 10 minutes ago, and my first thought was: WOW!

OK, so after 2 decades, the movement of the shaft of the boot under my jeans is going to take some getting used to. However, even after reading the views, I didn't expect this level of comfort. The leather is soft to the touch, but the boot feels very sturdy. And yes, they DO run large. In a tennis shoe, I run a size 11, but I ordered the 10D. I could probably have gone down another half size, to be honest, but while a bit roomy, but foot feels secure. Even just sitting here typing this out, they feel good on my feet.

I really don't know if this is a good price for these types of boots, but it's definitely a fair one. My tootsies are telling me this is money well spent. So, if you're in the market for a quality pull-on, I can't imagine doing much better than this. Granted, this is my initial reaction, which speaks nothing of the boot's durability, but so far, two enthusiastic thumbs up!
