Only true fans of the show can appreicate this cd, and it is actually a pretty good cd to listen to while you are driving on the interstate!! Remember to watch your rear for those motorcycle cops!!

This CD is good but it would have been better had it included the John Parker main and end titles from the first season. I mean, he did write the theme, for Pete's sake.

Finally! Finally! Finally! Ever since I got on a 70s/disco kick back in the 90s in high school, I have wanted the episode music from CHiPs. I can't believe they finally released this. I have not been into CHiPs for years so I missed that this was released in 2006!! I used to record the music with a tape recorder next to the TV just to listen to these funky grooves! I was so into everything 70s back in high school. I have literally waited 17 years for this. THANK YOU!!!!!!!

Been waiting for this CD all my life! Great "CHiPs" car chase music to a disco beat! Lively music that is never dull...brings back memories of Jon and Ponch on patrol with Grossie, Bear, Jeb, Bonnie, Harlan, and Sergeant Getraer and 60s and 70s vintage cars flipping over, crashing, and getting blown up. A must buy for tv show fans!

The Chips score means the sound of some TV-shows in the late 70th's. I like TV-shows from that time, and Chips is one of my favourite! Two police officers on the highway, doing there jobs with funny and serious adventures - it's so nice, that in all sessions of this show there NEVER was brutality, one time only there was a gun in the stopry, but never again. The music of Alan Silvestri is superb! Let's hope, that they will bring out the other Chips-music-material on CD, too!

This is a great CD if you are a fan of CHiPs. This would also be great to throw on at a party to see some interesting looks of "I remember that song!"

Also, if you want to listen to the early works of Alan Silvestri and film scores as well, this is for you.

What's there to say? if you like this kind of music, you'll love this CD. If not, you won't. I'm thrilled to death that it was released. I hope they do more obscure soundtrack music like this. I'm a fan of this stuff.

This is lots of fun! Since I have seen each CHiPs episode over 15 times each (for reasons that are not as odd as it seems. My sons love CHiPs, so why not?) I coudn't resit this odd gem. Sound quality is excellent, liner notes are very informative and the package is a limited edition collector's run of 3000. I am not sure they can even sell 3000, but it is still at some level special.

THe highlight for me is the disco tune from the episode where Ponch does his little Travolta number before delivering a baby with John on the dance floor. That's right. You remember that one. M.G. Kelly was teh rockin' d.j. in a big golden bowl held by massive hands with his frood side-kick buddy. Anyway, you get the point. This is about fun times and being a little silly. Still not ready to buy the disc. Then see how you answer this question: "Is it wrong that I fly down the highway passing cars and shifting lanes for no reason other than to match the music on the CD?" If you say, "No, that is awesome!" then you need to get this disc put out by Warner's Film Score Monthly before number 3000 says "code four on this one".

If you love CHiPs this is a must have. Just love the music. Makes me want to dance disco all night long.

I AGREE WITH THE FIRST REVIEW..... IF YOU LOVE THE SHOW .... YOU WILL LOVE THE MUSIC.... I RIDE MY KZ AND LISTEN... WOW....IT DOESNT GET ANY BETTER THAN THIS....MORE PLEASE
