This is great stuff. Since buying it two years ago it has become a necessary ingredient in so many dishes. Chiquilin brand has a refined flavor, smoky with no hint of being burnt. I noticed a bit of a burnt flavor in some other brands. It does not add heat like some pepper however. I use it in such things as sauteed vegies which I want to add a grilled flavor to, humus where it add a nice smokiness, and pan-frying tofu (I'm vegetarian). It can even add a grilled/outdoor flavor to your salads when used in a vinaigrette dressing.

Expected a deeper, smokier tone to this paprika than I got. Deserves praise for not being bitter (burnt) in processing, which some pimenton exhibit. Taste is delightful, but if you specifically want rich smoky nose to your paprika, try another.

I expected to get a smokey taste in foods when using the product. I did not expect to get such a rich, flavorful and full bodied taste and aroma from using so little of this in my cooking. Smoked paprika and the unsmoked variety are red-haired siblings raised in different cultures. The similarities are only visual. The performance of this brand of smoked paprika is amazing. No need to use another brand. I couldn't take the disappointment. Plus, you won't use regular paprika again.

Use it in casseroles, stews, soups and rubs for your meat. Use it everywhere except your coffee. So glad I bought it. It's fantastic.

This stuff is great. I put it everything but dessert. It really kicked up a mushroom and onion gravy we put on cube steaks. Plus, don't forget what it does for paella, the reason I bought it.

This is a good-quality smoked paprika and will work well in just about any dish you need it for. BUT, the container is quite small and contains only 2.6 oz. For less than a dollar more ($.64, to be exact), you can get McCormick's version, which tastes virtually the same, and you get 8.5 oz. - which is three times as much. In addition, like the Chiquilin, the McCormick paprika is made from Spanish red peppers that are smoked over wood planks. Finally, it is available with Prime shipping, just as the Chiquilin is.

We absolutely love this paprika!

This is not the cheap, weak stuff you get in the regular grocery store.
We've also tried other brands but they just are not as good!

This is a paprika with a rich, smoky flavor that adds depth to any dish you use it in.
Makes for wonderful meats, especially in the crock pot, and adds a great slight tang and smoke to
cold salads as well.

Definitely buy this one - you can't lose! :-)

I would never use this product. I guess you get what you pay for especially when it comes to spices. I had originally purchased smoked paprika from Penzeys. I opened the Chiquilin brand and smelled it. It has almost no sent at all even when I put it right up to my nose. I had the empty jar from penzeys smoked paprika, I could smell it inches away from my nose. (There was a bit of residue left in the jar.)
It smelled rich and smokey. The Chiquilin brand does have some scent but it smells dull and flat with almost no smokey scent. It smells and tastes like it was from a street market spice shop where the spice has been sitting out in the open for months or longer.
I have ordered hundreds of products from Amazon over the years including spices. I have never written a review of any product.
I had to submit this one because the product is not worth sending back so it is going in the trash.
